I finally got the chance to come by here. I had been curious about this place for a minute since the white cat really grabbed my attention, lol. FYI, they're more of a Japanese/Korean/Asian Fusion Gastro Bar than a restaurant. Still a very cool spot and perfect for meeting new people or just trying some fun drinks and food. The bartenders and servers here were so sweet, inviting, and helpful. One of our bartenders gave us a whole historical background of the place and spent the time telling us a little bit of his backstory. Overall a welcoming environment, we're definitely going to be back, especially for that Musubi!

I really want to give this place 5 stars but I was expecting too much in terms of food. I've heard nothing but great things about this place, so I was expecting food to blow my mind. My friends and I chose this place for our little bi monthly friend date. They were already drunk by the time I met them up so of course we were loud as hell inside. Really appreciated how fun and understanding the staff were cus at one point I swear, all you could hear were my friends yelling. Seems like a great bunch of people that works here. We decided to just do family style so we could order and try more than 1 dish. We got 2 orders of oysters, 2 birri arancini, yuzu califlower karaage, steak salad, and a loco moco scotch egg. I really enjoyed the arancini anything fried and has a gravy tends to warm my heart a bit. Cauliflower karaage was great, had light yuzu flavor that I found really refreshing. Steak salad was a surprise to me. I didnt really pay attention to what our server was saying but I just assumed it was going to be a basic steak salad. It had a very light and refreshing flavor, reminded me a lot of Vietnamese steak salad ( just googled it and there is nuoc cham) so yeah makes a lot of sense. steak was kind of rare but overall it wad great with all the veggies and fresh herbs. The loco moco scotch eggs was delicious! Different take on the classic dish but it was done really well. I didnt get any eggs cus my friend took almost the entire thing haha but the meat was seasoned well and loveeed the mac salad that came with it. So yeah food was good but I was expecting to leave that place with a food coma I know their menu changes a lot so that's the hard part about wanting to try something you previously saw but over all it was a good time with my friends.

Pretty solid Japanese fusion spot in the International District! A little pricey, but a nice cool vibe restaurant that's worth trying at least once or twice. Starting with food, we had the cauliflower kaarage, Nashville katsu, and the loco moco. The kaarage had a nice yuzu flavor and had a decent crisp but if you're going to call it kaarage, it has to be WAY crispier. Also, this dish is a full vegan dish. Some at my table though it was going to be actual kaarage chicken LOL. Nashville katsu was good, pretty good level of spice and decent portion size, although there wasn't enough rice. Loco moco was also solid but nothing special. Something I like about their dishes are how it's pretty easily shareable. We shared these three dishes between three people and it worked out well. As noted earlier, dishes are quite pricey here though. Main dishes will run you at least $25-$30. This makes sharing encouraged even more. Service was fantastic! Everyone was fast, friendly and efficient. The last time I was here, their menu changed a good amount so it's nice to see them keep things fresh. It's definitely worth a try!
